Job summary

Irdeco Group is hiring a Quantity Surveyor in Alor Setar. The role requires a Diploma in Quantity Surveying and at least 2 years of relevant experience. You must be able to travel and work on-site, with potential for annual bonuses and team-building activities.

Responsibilities include costing analyses for projects, obtaining price quotes from craftsmen and suppliers, reviewing bills before GM verification, and monitoring quotations to stay within budgets. Opportunities for promotion available.

Qualifications

• Must possess at least a Diploma in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of working experience in the related field.
• Senior executive specialized in Quantity Surveying preferred.

• Manage current payment claims and review all bills from subcontractors and suppliers before sending them to General Manager for verification.
• Monitor quotations from craftsmen during construction so as not to exceed the contract budget.
• Make briefings related to BQ with the design and project team before entering the site for each project.
