Job summary

MGB Berhad is looking for a dynamic Quantity Surveyor to ensure timely submission of contractor claims and oversee cost control procedures. The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Quantity Survey and have good communication skills in multiple languages, willing to engage in various tasks in a dynamic work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Survey or equivalent.
• Preferably at least 1 year of related working experience, fresh graduates welcome.
• Good communication in English, Chinese, Mandarin, and Malay.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit Contractors Monthly progress claims.
• Conduct joint measurements for verifying work completed.
• Assist in preparing reports and variation orders.
• Implement cost control procedures.

Job Description

• Prepare and ensure timely submission of Contractors Monthly progress claim and sub-contractor’s certificate.
• Conduct joint measurements to verify work completed by contractors and sub-contractors.
• Assist the Contract Manager to prepare reports and variation orders.
• Prepare final accounts of main contract and sub-contracts.
• Implement cost control procedures.
• Responsible in taking off quantities and calling for quotations.
• Check quantity and advise purchaser on materials to be ordered.
• Carry out other job assignments as and when required by the immediate superior
• Ad-hoc assigned by management.
  
  

Job Requirement

• Candidate should possess a Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Quantity Survey
• Preferably at least 1 year of related working experience. Fresh graduate welcome to apply!
• Preferably Manager specializing in Construction / Property or equivalent.
• Good communication skills in English,Chinese,Mandarin,Malay language for both spoken and written
