About the Role

We are looking for a Junior QA Engineer to join our Global R&D team in Kuala Lumpur. This role is ideal for fresh graduates who are interested in software testing, ERP systems, and enterprise financial applications.

You will work closely with experienced QA engineers and developers to support localization testing of our BIP ERP Financial Cloud products for Southeast Asia markets. Comprehensive training and mentorship will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in functional and localization testing for financial modules
• Assist in reviewing requirements and understanding business scenarios
• Create and execute test cases based on test plans and requirements
• Log, track and verify defects using defect management tools
• Support test environment setup and test data preparation
• Learn and assist in API testing and test automation under guidance
• Collaborate with R&D teams in Malaysia and China to ensure product quality

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or related fields. Fresh graduates are welcome (internship or project experience is a plus)
• Strong logical thinking and attention to detail
• Willingness to learn ERP systems and financial business processes
• Basic understanding of software testing concepts (manual testing, test cases, defect lifecycle)
• Interest in automation testing or technical testing is a strong plus
• Good communication skills in English (Mandarin is a plus, but not mandatory)
• Responsible, proactive, and able to work in a team environment

Nice to Have (Not Mandatory)

• Internship experience in software testing or IT projects
• Basic knowledge of SQL, APIs, or programming (Java / Python)
• Exposure to automation tools (Selenium, Postman, etc.)
• Finance or accounting coursework
