Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of application development experience in banking or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience with SDLC, release management, and QA processes.
• Experience in Core Banking or Investment & Wealth Management systems.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance applications for Investment & Wealth platform using .NET.
• Perform database development and optimisation with MS SQL Server.
• Support release management, deployment planning, and coordination.
• Participate in QA activities including testing and defect resolution.
• Collaborate with business users and technical teams to deliver enhancements.

We are seeking an experienced Junior .NET Developer to support application development, release management, and quality assurance for the Investment & Wealth platform within a Core Banking environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance applications for the Investment & Wealth platform using .NET technologies.
• Perform database development, optimisation, and troubleshooting with MS SQL Server and SQL.
• Support release management activities, including deployment planning, coordination, and implementation.
• Participate in quality assurance activities such as testing, defect resolution, and validation of application enhancements.
• Collaborate with business users, project teams, and technical stakeholders to deliver system enhancements and resolve production issues.
• Troubleshoot application and database issues to maintain system availability and performance.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation for system changes, releases, and support activities.
• Adhere to organisational development standards, security policies, and best practices.

Requirements

Must-have:

• Bachelor’s degree in any related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in application development within a banking or financial services environment.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience working in an Open Systems environment.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), release management, and quality assurance processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in Core Banking or Investment & Wealth Management systems.

Nice-to-have:

• Familiarity with application deployment and release automation processes.
• Exposure to Agile or Scrum development methodologies.
• Knowledge of system integration and performance tuning.
• Experience supporting production environments and incident resolution.
