Job summary

Terengganu Silica Consortium Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Jr. Metallurgist/Metallurgist based at Setiu/Marang, Terengganu. The role focuses on laboratory operations, analysis, and testing to support silica processing projects and ensure quality control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Mineral Resource/ Metallurgical Engineering/Material Engineering or a related discipline
• Min. years of experiences: 0- 2 year working experience

Responsibilities

• Oversee laboratory operations, research, analysis and testing for Terengganu Silica Consortium (TSC), TRG Silica (Marang) and TRG Industrial Minerals.
• Ensure laboratory management systems comply with safety, quality, equipment maintenance, inventory control and OSHA requirements.
• Support plant engineers in designing, optimizing and improving silica processing operations by monitoring process performance, troubleshooting production issues, conducting research and development, evaluating new technologies and recommending process improvements.
