Design, develop, modify, build, and test manufacturing plant machinery, infrastructure, and tooling to ensure effective operation, maximize efficiency, and maintain safety standards.
Participate in the production machine tool and plant facilities performance monitoring program by collecting, organizing, and analyzing data to ensure the effectiveness of preventive maintenance and continuous improvement actions.
Collaborate with plant technicians, the Quality and HSE committees, and facilities specialists to ensure compliance with company policies and objectives, as well as external auditors and regulatory requirements.
Contribute to the management system of critical facilities and machinery spare parts by tracking and controlling inventory to minimize costs without compromising machine uptime.
Work with other departmental engineers as part of the continuous improvement team to resolve issues related to facilities, aiming to meet deadlines and minimize costs.
Coordinate with facilities engineers to supervise technician teams or contractors for urgent work arrangements under exceptional circumstances.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Willingness to work in standby mode for emergency breakdowns.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in English and Malay communication.
Experience in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or 3D Design software.
