About the role

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Junior Mechanic to join our team at Podium Automotive in Bandar Sri Damansara, Selangor. As a Junior Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing a range of vehicles, contributing to the smooth operation of our automotive business. What you'll be doing

• Conduct routine inspections, diagnostics, and maintenance on a variety of vehicles
• Perform repairs and replacements of automotive components, systems, and parts
• Collaborate with the service team to ensure efficient and timely completion of work
• Maintain comprehensive records of all work performed
• Adhere to health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment
• Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date with industry best practices

What we're looking for

• Local Malaysian
• Diploma or certificate in Automotive Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Mechanic or Automotive Technician
• Possess valid driving licence
• Have experience working with continental cars
• Working fluency in English; BM and Mandarin is a plus but not mandatory
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
