About This Role
As a
Junior Market Researcher, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Sales Operations team by conducting
market trend analysis across various industries, such as F&B, Retail, and Services.
Your work will involve gathering, managing, and analyzing data related to key industries and segments in Singapore, with a focus on ePOS products. You will collaborate closely with the Sales Operations Manager to ensure the collection of
high-quality, actionable insights that will guide strategic business decisions.

Market Trends Analysis
- Monitor and analyze market trends across sectors including F&B, Retail, and Services.
- Track emerging consumer behavior shifts and industry developments.
- Compare trends from different sectors to uncover potential opportunities or threats.
Database Management
- Maintain and update a comprehensive database of Singapore-based companies segmented by industry and business size.
- Keep accurate records of companies adopting ePOS systems and identify high-potential segments for sales and marketing.
Data Collection & Segmentation
- Gather, organize, and segment market data by industry, size, and region.
- Conduct surveys, interviews, or other data-gathering methods to obtain industry-specific insights.
Quality Assurance
- Ensure collected data is accurate, complete, and reliable.
- Regularly clean, validate, and update data for integration into CRM systems.
Reporting & Presentations
- Prepare reports and presentations summarizing key insights, trends, and opportunities.
- Present findings to the Sales Operations Manager and stakeholders in a clear, actionable format.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with the Sales Operations Manager and other teams to align insights with business strategies.
- Identify potential sales opportunities based on market research data.
- Contribute to the development of sales strategies backed by data-driven insights.
Requirements

- You have strong analytical and research skills.
- You are proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets (experience with CRM tools like HubSpot and Power BI is a plus, but not required).
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- You can work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
- You have a keen interest in market research, sales operations, and the F&B, Retail, or Services industries
