Job summary

Jehantech Sdn Bhd is seeking a maintenance assistant in Malaysia to support daily upkeep of buildings and systems. The role involves electrical, mechanical, and air conditioning tasks, with a focus on hands-on maintenance and minor repairs across facilities.

The ideal candidate holds at least an SPM or relevant certification, is physically fit, and can manage multiple tasks independently while ensuring reliability and punctuality.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM qualification or relevant maintenance certification.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, building maintenance, and air conditioning systems.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work independently.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual work.
• Punctual and reliable with good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintenance of building, structure, electrical and mechanical systems.
• Carry out maintenance, servicing and troubleshooting of air conditioning systems.
• Support general maintenance works including electrical, plumbing, and basic repairs.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance of equipment and facilities.
• Assist in minor and major repair activities and ad-hoc duties as assigned.
• Be flexible to handle tasks across different areas as required.

Salary Range: Basic RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month + overtime

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for assisting in all maintenance-related tasks, including:

Carry out maintenance of building & structure, electrical and mechanical system.

Perform maintenance, servicing and troubleshooting of air conditioning systems (cleaning filters, checking units, reporting faults)

Assist in general maintenance works (electrical, plumbing and basic repairs)

Carry out routine inspection and preventive maintenance of equipment and facilities

Carry out minor repair works and support major repair activities

Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned by management

Flexibility to handle multiple tasks across different areas as assigned.

Requirements:

Minimum SPM qualification or any relevant maintenance certification
