A leading company seeks a Legal Executive to assist in drafting, reviewing, and managing legal documents. Candidates should be eager to learn and have a strong grasp of legal writing, communication, and organizational skills. This role offers exposure to corporate governance and compliance tasks in a supportive environment, making it ideal for fresh graduates and those with limited experience.
Assist in drafting, vetting, and reviewing contracts, service agreements, NDAs, MOUs, LOIs, tenancy agreements, and other legal documents.
Maintain a proper filing system and legal document repository (physical and digital).
Support in contract lifecycle management including renewals, variations, and terminations.

Support in contract lifecycle management including renewals, variations, and terminations.
Conduct legal research on relevant laws, regulations, and case laws.
Assist in preparing legal opinions, summaries, and briefing notes for internal use.
Monitor updates to key legislation (e.g. Companies Act 2016, Employment Act, ISO standards, etc.).
Assist in compliance audits and prepare compliance checklists.
Help track licenses, permits, and statutory obligations.
Support in implementing internal policies, SOPs, and risk mitigation strategies.
Coordinate with external legal counsel on ongoing matters, if needed.
Assist in scheduling and preparing documentation for legal meetings.
Support internal departments (HR, Tender, Finance, Ops) on legal-related matters.
Assist in company secretarial matters (board resolutions, minutes, statutory filings).
Support in organizing AGMs, board meetings, and maintaining statutory registers.
Education & Qualification:
Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) or equivalent.
Fresh graduates or candidates with 1–2 years of relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
Key Skills:
Strong legal writing and communication skills.
Attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal research tools.
Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Based in Taman Tun Dr. Ismail
Office hours 8.30 a.m. - 5.30 p.m.
May be required to travel occasionally for meetings or training.
