Job description

We seek a Junior Legal Counsel to join our company’s Legal Department. The ideal candidate will play a major role in ensuring contractual compliance and legal alignment within the rapidly evolving landscape of the financial industry, including cryptocurrency, digital assets, investment funds, FinTechs, and payment institutions. The candidate should demonstrate a keen interest in emerging technologies and possess a solid understanding of the legal framework surrounding these industries. The candidate will have the opportunity to collaborate with industry experts, engage with diverse clients, and contribute to the advancement of legal strategies within the context of emerging financial technologies.

Responsibilities
  1. Conducting legal research and analysis;
  2. Providing legal consultations to both corporate and individual clients;
  3. Structuring legal frameworks for diverse business entities;
  4. Preparing legal documents and legal opinions;
  5. Facilitating the acquisition of licenses for financial, investment, and regulatory compliance;
  6. Identifying legal solutions for businesses operating in emerging markets;
  7. Collaborating with cross-functional teams on legal aspects of various projects;
  8. Providing proper legal citation and statutory interpretation.
Requirements
  1. A completed Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Law (or nearing graduation);
  2. Proficiency in English;
  3. Excellent research, analytical, and communication skills;
  4. Ability to work independently and collaboratively;
  5. Proficiency in legal research tools and databases, including the capability to conduct thorough legal research and analyze case law, statutes, and regulations;
  6. Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively;
  7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  9. Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to a positive work environment;
