Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a GIS Specialist to collect, process, and manage geospatial data from diverse sources in a fast-paced environment. You will develop and maintain GIS databases, generate digital maps, and produce high-quality maps, reports and visualizations for stakeholders across projects.

The role involves supporting GIS integration with enterprise systems, ensuring data accuracy and standards, and conducting field verifications when needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geoinformatics, GIS, Surveying or related field.
• Proficient in GIS software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, AutoCAD Map or MapInfo.
• Knowledgeable in spatial data management, spatial analysis and cartographic principles.
• Computer-literate and proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Possess strong analytical, problem solving and reporting skills.
• Good communication, interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities
