Be passionate about building scalable, user-centric web applications. As a Junior Web Developer, your eagerness to learn and contribute across the entire software stack will be crucial.

We are primarily a web-based platform. Our stack is primarily NodeJS with VueJS frontend, and power all our APIs and core business logic. Our customer facing frontend is a Laravel/PHP based framework, with Tailwind - but it's core engine is using our NodeJS APIs.

In the beginning, you'll be actively involved in writing, testing, and deploying code for both front-end and back-end features, collaborating closely with senior developers and product managers. You will be expected to contribute to the entire software development lifecycle.

Curiosity and a strong desire to learn new technologies and programming paradigms will be highly valued. As part of a small team you'll be given the opportunity to work across multiple products and learn new software.

Within 1 month, you'll be...

• Directly involved in our Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) from design to deployment
  • Assisting in developing and testing new features for our web platform, writing unit tests and documentation
  • Collaborating with senior developers to understand the existing codebase and contribute to bug fixes
  • Participating in code reviews and learning best practices

Within 3 months, you'll be...

• Taking ownership of smaller features, from front-end implementation to back-end logic
• Learning and applying new technologies and frameworks as required by projects
• Contributing to API development and integration
• Collaborating with Product Managers and Senior Engineering Leads to translate requirements into technical solutions

Within 6 months, you'll be...

• Proactively identifying areas for improvement in our existing applications and suggesting solutions
• Designing and implementing robust and efficient fullstack solutions for new features
• Championing best practices in software development, including code quality, testing, and deployment

Requirements for this role

• Min 1 year work experience in a software development role, preferably with some exposure to both front-end and back-end technologies in a startup. (Formal education is not required, but a relevant degree or bootcamp completion is a plus)
• Proven ability to deliver results, with a bias for action. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail
• Familiarity with at least one modern front-end framework (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) and one back-end language/framework (e.g., Node.js, Python/Django/Flask). Basic understanding of databases (SQL or NoSQL)
• Keen to learn and stay updated with the latest web development techniques and technologies
• Excellent English written and verbal communication is a must
