To support the Finance team by collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, data analysis, and contributing to budgeting, forecasting, month-end closing, and reporting activities. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate financial insights and process efficiency.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Prepare executive summaries on Top Line and Margins, including detailed breakdowns as required.
2. Conduct product costing analysis and update standard costing in SAP system.
3. Verify freight, transportation, shipping, and forwarding costs by reconciling actual invoices with SAP accruals.

Reporting

1. Upload financial data into the company system for monthly and quarterly closings, forecasts, and budget submissions.
2. Prepare company reports such as stock analysis, AR, AP aging, consumables, logistics, etc.
3. Perform trend analysis using historical data from SAP and other sources.

Ad-hoc support

1. Assist in data extraction and document compilation during audits from government authorities including Customs, MIDA, Inland Revenue Board, Bank Negara, National Statistic Department, and Unclaimed Money Department.
2. Provide cross-functional support to finance team members as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in Accounting or Finance.
• Strong foundation in accounting functions within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in accounting systems and ERP tools, especially SAP.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Self-driven, resourceful, mature, and capable of working independently.
