Job description

Description:

The Junior Finance Executive is primarily responsible for assisting the Head of Finance with any and all tasks assigned. To help the Finance Team to provide full support to local business operations and ensure compliance with the company policies. This position reports to the Head of Finance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist where necessary with the weekly/monthly payments and ensure correctness.
  • Having close coordination/liaison with Account Payable for set up of vendors accounts and payment processing and other matters related to Account Payable
  • Monitor and follow up for recurring/advance/settlement expenses and other ad hoc expenses and provide accrual, controlling aging report to submit to Head of Finance
  • Perform various Treasury ad hoc and weekly support functions
  • Act as back-up to Finance Team related to Account receivable support with various reconciliations by coordinating and providing needed information from external parties
  • Other tasks assigned by the Head of Finance

Required Skills:

  • At least 1 year of relevant working experience in a related field will be helpful
  • Fresh candidates are encouraged to apply as well.
  • Candidate must possess at least a LCCI, Diploma, Advanced / Graduate Diploma in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent
  • Good command of spoken and written in English is a must
  • Ability to problem solve and predict potential problems with assigned tasks
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage personal milestones and deadlines
  • Required to work on site / in office
