Junior/Field Technician

Salary: RM3,500

Minimum Qualifications:

• 0.5 - 2 years’ experience in servicing/deploying computer equipment or a technical school certification is required
• Must have proven customer service background
• Individual will be knowledgeable of Windows operating system environment
• Able to comprehend and follow verbal and written technical instructions and scripts
• Qualified resources should have A+ certification or equivalent skill set
• Basic Windows troubleshooting will be involved
• Certification in various hardware platforms may optionally be required for servicing hardware issues

Break/Fix, Disassembly/Re-assembly, Troubleshooting:

• Basic Storage (EQL & MD3xxx)
• Desktops/Notebooks/Tablets/Printers
• Servers
• Switches

Activities / Responsibilities:

• Fault diagnosis, basic troubleshooting and ensure effective repair of the products
• Delivers upgrades and conversions including replacement of component parts e.g. keyboards, monitors, disks etc.
• Escalate calls within given time guidelines
• Process paperwork relevant to customer problems/upgrades
