About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Embedded System Engineer to join our dynamic R&D Engineering Department. The ideal candidate will play a key role in the design, development, and optimization of embedded systems for our innovative products.

This position requires strong technical expertise in embedded hardware and software, problem-solving capabilities, and a deep understanding of real-time systems and microcontroller architectures. You will be instrumental in driving the development of cutting-edge technologies, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to bring advanced embedded solutions to life.

Responsibilities
  1. Design, develop, and maintain embedded systems for UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) and UGVs (Unmanned Ground Vehicles).
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and refine the embedded systems architecture for UAV/UGV platforms, including sensors, communication systems to ensure it meets the requirements of our products.
  3. Implement controls algorithms and communication protocols for seamless interaction between embedded systems and other components of UAVs/UGVs.
  4. Conduct hardware integration, firmware debugging, and testing to ensure the reliability and performance of embedded systems.
  5. Work closely with the project management team to meet project deadlines and milestones.
  6. Provide technical expertise and support during the production and manufacturing process to ensure successful integration and deployment of our products.
  7. Work closely with test engineers to develop comprehensive test plans, perform rigorous testing, and ensure software quality meets functional and stability requirements.
  8. Stay updated with the latest advancements in UAV/UGV technology, embedded systems, and industry best practices, applying them to improve our products.
Requirements

Essential information to attract the right talent:

  • Bachelor’s degree in aerospace/Mechatronics/Electric & Electronic/Software Engineering or equivalent qualification; Master’s degree is a plus.
  • 1-2 Years of experience
  • Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in embedded systems development, such as C/C++, and Python.
  • Experience with microcontroller architecture, real-time operating systems (RTOS), and embedded software development tools. ü Familiar with communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, and CAN.
  • Hands‑on experience with hardware debugging tools, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and software debugging tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Having piloting experience and being able to build and flight test UAVs such as multirotor drones, fixed wing UAV, and UGV are an added advantage.
  • Experience developing, customizing, or implementing open‑source UAV/UGV software, such as Ardupilot, PX4, MAVlink, Mission Planner or any relevant Robot Operating System (ROS 1 & 2).
  • Proven experience in embedded systems development, with a focus on UAVs or UGVs preferred.
