Overview

IKA Works (Asia) Sdn Bhd – Rawang, Selangor

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Junior Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team at IKA in Rawang. In this fulltime position, you will play a crucial role in supporting the design, development, and maintenance of our state-of-the-art electrical and electronic systems.

What you'll be doing

• Design circuit diagrams and electrical control systems for IKA plant and skid system
• Prepare bill of material (BOM) for the electrical control system
• Analyze requirements to arrange programming sequences, prepare workflow charts and diagrams using programming languages and logic
• Confirm program operation by conducting tests
• Maintain historical programming records by documenting program development and revisions
• Perform testing and commissioning in line with the specified site requirements
• Responsible for assembly panels and functional testing of plant wiring
• Provide technical support for electrical scopes to production and building maintenance teams

What we\'re looking for

• Degree in Electrical/ Electronic Engineering
• 2 years of PLC programming development experience
• Familiar with PLC programming (Siemens preferred)
• Familiar with control of process equipment, tools and machinery
• Familiar with electrical design software (EPLAN preferred)
• Familiar with IEC and other international standards
• Willing to travel
