Job description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and committed Junior Draftsperson with at least 3 years of experience in CAD drafting. The ideal candidate should have strong technical skills in AutoCAD, a solid understanding of drafting standards, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. This role supports the technical team in preparing and managing accurate design drawings for internal use and local authority submissions.Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare precise 2D and 3D drawings, plans and layouts using AutoCAD, SketchUp and other relevant software.

• Understanding of basic drafting techniques, standards, and conventions is necessary.

• Prepare and update submission drawings for local authority approvals.

• Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards, company procedures, and ISO9001 requirements.

• Organize and maintain drawing files, records, and documentation in an efficient and traceable manner.

• Assist with coordination between design and site team.

• Support site team and consultants with updated drawings as required.

• Prioritize tasks and manage workload to meet project timelines.

• Attention to detail as accurate and precise work is crucial for creating reliable drawings.

Job Qualifications:

• Diploma or degree in Drafting, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field is required.

• Minimum 3 years working experience with CAD software, particularly AutoCAD is required.

• Good understanding of technical drawings, building materials, and construction methods.

• Experience working in a ISO9001 certified company would be greatly beneficial in ensuring proper file and drawing management.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
