Job summary

A Die Attach Technician at ASE Electronics Malaysia will operate and monitor die attach equipment in a cleanroom setting, ensuring production targets, quality and safety standards are met. The role requires hands-on technical aptitude and proactive problem-solving to maintain high uptime and yield.

You will work closely with engineers and other technicians, perform routine maintenance and support continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing processes in Penang/Bayan Lepas.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering required.
• Desirable: practical experience with die attach equipment and processes.
• Familiarity with SPC, FMEA, DOE, TPM, OCAP, JMP, RCA, Control Plan, working instructions, and predictive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and monitor die attach production equipment in a cleanroom environment.
• Maintain safety, quality and efficiency in daily operations.
• Perform inspections and support troubleshooting of equipment and processes.
• Record production metrics and ensure traceability through logs and reports.
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to resolve issues and improve processes.
