Job summary

Jora Malaysia in Negeri Sembilan seeks a drafting technician to prepare and update 2D fabrication drawings, layouts, and simple 3D models. You will revise drawings based on engineers' feedback and ensure conformity with company standards.

The role requires a Diploma in Architecture or related field and proficiency in AutoCAD and other design tools. You will support senior designers and maintain revision-controlled drawings, coordinating with fabrication and maintenance teams.

Qualifications

Minimum diploma in Architecture or related field.
Proficient in AutoCAD and listed design software.
1–2 years drafting/design experience in fabrication or related industries.
Good interpersonal and communication skills at all levels.
Mature, independent, proactive, and technically decisive.

Responsibilities

Prepare and update 2D fabrication drawings, layouts, and simple 3D models.
Revise existing drawings based on feedback from engineers or supervisors.
Ensure drawings are clear, accurate, and aligned with company standards.
Support senior designers and engineers in drafting and documentation tasks.
Maintain proper record-keeping of drawings and revision control.
Coordinate with fabrication / maintenance team for design clarification.
Undertake additional responsibilities or tasks as required to support production and ensure timely completion of project deliverables.
