Job summary

Camfil in Malaysia is seeking a Data Administration professional to maintain supplier and item data, ensure data quality, and coordinate updates across the group. The role involves handling forecasts, liaising with Camfil Companies and suppliers, and ensuring data integrity within our GS framework.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree, hands-on ERP experience, and strong communication skills in English. Prior manufacturing or supply chain exposure is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Working experience in manufacturing/supply chain data administration.
• Solid understanding of data administration processes and methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems and MS Office applications.
• Effective communication with internal and external parties, strong written/verbal English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain data related to suppliers, Camfil Companies, and items per GS specifications.
• Conduct data quality checks and coordinate updates with relevant parties.
• Notify stakeholders of data updates and maintain traceability.
• Monitor forecasts provided by Camfil Companies to Group suppliers.
• Coordinate with Group Logistics for new trade allocations and forwarders.

Job description

Key Responsibilities include:

Assistance with Data Maintenance

• Maintenance of data related to Group suppliers, Camfil Companies and items, including the collection of needed documentation (Suppliers information, price agreements, drawings, TDS, MSDS, …) in order to set up the data in accordance with our GS specifications
• Data quality/validity control and coordination of needed updates with concerned parties
• Notification of updates to relevant parties
• Administration and monitoring of forecasts to be provided by our Camfil Companies to part of our Group suppliers
• Coordination with Group Logistics when a new trade needs a decision about allocated forwarder

Authority & Control

• Access to our present data system as “Administration user”
• Authority to be in direct contact with listed personnel involved in GS activities in our Camfil Companies and by our suppliers

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Working experience, preferably from the manufacturing industry and related to supply chain, with relevant praxis of data administration
• Solid understanding of the business methodology and system data administration
• Hands-on experience with ERP software and MS Office applications
• Capacity to communicate effectively with internal and external parties
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
