Looking for a role that allows you to take ownership of your work?

Focusing on strategy and planning through implementing data-driven initiatives and delivering results to various stakeholders. Applying strong analytical knowledge and data science techniques to support various functional units, including pricing, actuarial, sales, agency, and other departments requiring data initiatives.

You'll be responsible for:

Support strategic planning and decision-making through data-driven insights.

Monitor and analyze portfolio performance, identifying trends and anomalies.

Provide statistical and analytical support to various business units, including pricing, actuarial, sales, etc

Collaborate with senior data scientists and other stakeholders on projects aimed at supporting company growth and profitability.

Research and develop solutions to optimize workflow and achieve cost savings.

Implement automation processes to enhance efficiency across different departments.

Assist in the development and implementation of data-driven initiatives across the organization.

Important to your success:

Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.

0-2 years of relevant work experience in data analysis, preferably in the insurance industry.

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and R.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Demonstrated ability to work independently with exceptional learning agility and efficiency.

Fluent in both written and spoken English with good communication skills.

Knowledge with concepts like OLAP or data engineering tools such as Databricks.

Proficiency in SQL and experience with ETL processes.

Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and statistical modeling techniques.

Ability to leverage AI tools like ChatGPT to predict market trends and inform business strategies.

Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
