Job summary

ZHONGNAN INDUSTRIAL BUILDING AND CONSTRUCTION SDN. BHD. in Malaysia is seeking a Junior Project Assistant / Junior Civil Engineer (fresh graduates welcome) to support growing construction project operations.

You will assist the Project Manager and team with on-site coordination, documentation, and submittals. The role requires a Diploma/Bachelor's in Civil Engineering or related field, with 0–2 years' experience, and strong English and Chinese communication skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building, or related technical discipline.
• Fresh Graduates or candidates with 1–2 years of relevant experience.
• Good command of English (written & spoken) as a primary working language.
• Proficiency in Chinese (written & spoken) is required to coordinate with internal teams and project stakeholders.
• Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic AutoCAD knowledge is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager and Engineering team with day-to-day project operations, document control, and site coordination.
• Prepare and organize technical submittals, progress reports, meeting minutes, and official correspondence.
• Liaise with subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers to ensure smooth workflow on-site.
• Perform site inspections, measurements, and quality monitoring under supervision.
• Support project administrative and technical documentation as required.
