Job description

Junior Buyer (1 year experience ++)

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Source and acquire necessary components and supplies for both new and existing products.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, ensure timely deliveries, and manage purchase price variances for projects.
  • Resolve issues such as supply chain disruptions, material allocations, inventory discrepancies, faulty materials, and identify alternative suppliers.
  • Oversee designated projects from pre-production to full-scale production.
  • Develop and manage relationships with suppliers, monitoring their performance.

Qualifications:

  • A Degree or Diploma in a relevant discipline, preferably Materials Management or Purchasing.
  • At least 1 year of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in an electronics manufacturing services setting is advantageous.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, especially SAP R/3.
  • Fluency in English.
