JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an outspoken, proactive, and detail-oriented Junior Buyer to join our purchasing team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role focuses on sourcing and purchasing operational supplies essential to supporting daily production activities. The ideal candidate is confident in communication, assertive when engaging with suppliers, and motivated to contribute to efficient purchasing operations.

  • Proactively source and procure operational supplies based on production needs
  • Communicate clearly and confidently with suppliers to request, evaluate, and negotiate quotations
  • Prepare and manage purchase orders, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams (e.g., production, maintenance, engineering) to align on material requirements and resolve supply issues
  • Maintain organized and accurate purchasing records and documentation
  • Support supplier evaluation, cost control, and process improvement initiatives
  • JOB REQUIREMENT

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, or a related field
  • 1–2 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role is preferred, but fresh graduates are welcome to apply
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a confident and professional approach
  • Proactive attitude with strong problem-solving and follow-through capabilities
  • High level of attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ERP system experience is an advantage
