Responsibilities & Duties

As a Junior Building Surveyor, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conduct on-sitebuilding inspections and surveys(internal and external areas).
• Evaluate thecondition and complianceof properties based on current industry standards.
• Identify and documentconstruction defects, poor workmanship, or non-compliance issues.
• Prepare detailedBuilding Condition Assessment (BCA)reports with photographic evidence and professional recommendations if needed.
• Collaborate with clients to explain findings, guide them through the defect submission process, and provide post-inspection support.
• Work closely with senior and inspectors to complete assignments in a timely and professional manner.
• Travel independently to inspection sites, which may include outstation locations.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism in all interactions with clients, team members, and external stakeholders.

Job Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• ADiploma or Degreein Building Surveying or other relevant qualifications.
• Knowledge ofCPBS101,CIS 7:2021, and proficiency inMicrosoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong observational skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
• A valid driving license (B/B2 or D) andown transport.
• Willingness to travel outstation when required.
• Strong verbal and writtencommunication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet tight deadlines.
• Positive attitude, self-motivated, disciplined, and punctual.
• Willingness to workoutdoors in all weather conditions.
• Eagerness to learn and grow within the company.

Working Hours & Environment

• Flexible working hours— report directly to site from home and attend meetings at the office when required.
• Mostly field-based with support from the office team.
