Doka Asia Pacific invites applications for a Junior BIM Modeler EAP with basic 3D-BIM knowledge and Revit Arch/Structure skills. Based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, you will report to the Head of Engineering EAP and contribute to BIM models for formwork and structures.

You will create Revit families, assist in model coordination and shop drawings, support BIM standards, and collaborate with engineers and project teams to ensure timely, accurate deliverables.

Formación

• 1–3 years of experience with BIM software, preferably Revit & AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of 3D-BIM workflows and formwork context.
• Proficient in English; local language skills a plus.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a regional team.

We are looking for a Junior BIM Modeler EAP with a foundational knowledge of 3D-BIM with strong Revit Arch / Structure tools operating skills and a passion for digital construction industry. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proactive approach and a willingness to develop their skills and knowledge further. This position is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Job Description

You will be responsible for:

• Creating and maintaining detailed structural 3D-BIM models, primarily using Autodesk Revit, in line with Doka’s standards and guidelines.
• Collaborating closely with project team to ensure accurate and timely delivery of Structure & formwork 3D models.
• Preparing shop drawings, Formwork general arrangement drawings, presentations and other documentation activities.
• Apply Doka BIM standards, workflows, and digital engineering best practices.
• Creating Revit families, maintaining and updating BIM libraries.
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of BIM processes by offering insights and feedback.
• Produce high-quality shop drawings, presentations and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely BIM deliverables.
• Assist in BIM coordination, model review and clash detection activities to improve project efficiency.
• Create, manage and update Revit families and BIM content libraries.
• Support formwork planning, digital construction workflows and model-based project delivery.
• Ensure BIM models comply with project specifications, modeling standards and quality requirements.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of BIM processes, tools and best practices within the organization.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Technology, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in construction projects with BIM software, particularly Autodesk Revit & AutoCAD. ( familiarity with Navisworks, Inventor, or other modeling tools is a plus)
• Working knowledge of MS Office
• Basic understanding of formwork systems and construction methodologies is desirable.
• Strong technical and analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Willingness to learn, take direction, and adapt to evolving project needs.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively under supervision.
• Proficiency in English (written and verbal) is required; knowledge of local languages is a plus.
• A proactive, self-motivated attitude and a commitment to continuous development.
