Job summary

FRISEE EATS SDN BHD. is recruiting a friendly Barista to greet customers, prepare beverages, and deliver excellent service in our Kota Bharu cafe. Applicants must have at least a Diploma, 1 year barista experience, strong English writing and speaking skills, and full working rights in Malaysia.

Willing to work shifts, weekends, and holidays. Must hold Typhoid Injection and Food Handling certificates or be willing to obtain.

Qualifications

• Full working rights in Malaysia required.
• Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of Barista experience.
• Excellent English writing and speaking skills required.
• Friendly, communicative with strong customer-service mindset.
• Valid Typhoid Injection Certificate and Food Handling Course Certificate (or willing to obtain).
• Ability to work in a team and during peak hours.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays, and long-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide excellent recommendations from our menu.
• Lead and oversee daily cafe and beverage operations to ensure smooth workflow and service efficiency.
• Prepare and serve coffee, beverages, and cafe products according to company standards and recipes.
• Ensure beverage quality, presentation, and consistency at all times.
• Handle customer service professionally and maintain a positive cafe experience.
• Manage stock levels, inventory control, and ingredient ordering, and assist with daily stock counts.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards.
• Support operational planning and maintain efficiency during peak hours.
• Assist in improving beverage menu and offerings, cafe presentation, and operational standards.
