Job summary

Bank Islam is seeking a customer service and sales-focused professional for its Business Development Centre (BDC) in Malaysia. The role involves transacting with customers, delivering bank products and services, and maintaining a high level of professionalism in resolving customer issues.

You will work with supervisors, participate in cross-product sales, and perform back-office duties such as updating rates, reconciliation, and document control, ensuring confidentiality and timeliness.

Responsibilities

• Transact with customers, products and services of the bank that is designated to BDC
• Proactive with a positive and active sales approach to delivering the products and services at the BDC
• Demonstrate the highest level of professionalism and efficiency in handling and resolving customers’ complaints and issues
• Work as a team at the BDC, with the Supervisor and Acting Supervisor’s guidance to increase sales and achieve revenue target
• Actively involved in the cross-product sales activities of the Bank’s products and services that have been approved for cross selling at the BDC
• Back Office and Administration: Update daily trading rates; Ensuring reconciliation and submission carried out by the stipulated timeline; Perform housekeeping and ensure proper management and control of documents.
