Techstreet Malaysia is seeking a Junior Backend Developer to build and maintain the backend of our platform using PHP and Node.js. You will collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver scalable features and ensure high performance and reliability of backend systems.

The role requires up to 2 years of backend experience, proficiency in PHP and Node.js with MySQL, and familiarity with Yii2, GCP, Elasticsearch, and PostgreSQL is a plus.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of backend development experience.
• Proficient in PHP, Node.js and MySQL.
• Experience with Yii2, Google Cloud Platform is a plus.
• Experience with Elasticsearch and PostgreSQL is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the backend of the company's platform.
