Junior Accounts & Finance Executive (aka Junior Accountant)

About the role

We are seeking an ambitious and detail-oriented Junior Accounts & Finance Executive to join our dynamic team at ALPHA OCEAN RESOURCES BERHAD in Kuala Lumpur. This is a full-time position where you will play a crucial role in maintaining the company's financial records and supporting the overall accounting and finance functions.

What you'll be doing

Assist with the preparation of monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports

Perform data entry and account reconciliation tasks to ensure the accuracy of the company's financial records

Support the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings

Liaise with internal stakeholders to provide financial information and analysis

Assist with the implementation of financial policies and procedures

Provide administrative support to the finance team as needed

What we're looking for

Relevant degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field

0-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a small to medium-sized enterprise

Strong attention to detail and excellent numeric skills

Proficient in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Office applications

Ability to work well in a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment

Good communication and interpersonal skills
