Job description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Accounts Executive to support our finance team. The ideal candidate will have basic accounting knowledge, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. This role involves handling accounts receivable, daily sales reporting, and providing general administrative support.

Key Responsibilities:

· Handle daily accounting transactions and bookkeeping.

· Monitor and prepare monthly payments (e.g., term loans, rental, utilities, hire purchase, EPF, SOCSO, EIS, HRDC).

· Process and verify incoming invoices

· Maintain accurate financial records and post transactions to the accounting system

· Prepare and submit accurate daily sales reports to management.

· Check all reports for consistency and accuracy before submission.

· Assist with basic accounting tasks and data entry.

· Perform filing and document management duties.

· Liaise with auditors, bankers, tax agents, and statutory bodies

· Support ad-hoc financial accounting tasks

· Prepare and update yearly closing stock records for financial reporting purposes

· Assist in year-end audit preparations

Skills and Qualifications:

· Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

· Minimum 2 years experience with basic knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (SQL).

· Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

· Good communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to multitask and work effectively in a team or independently.
