Junior Accounts Executive

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Junior Accounts Executive to join our team at our Taman Tun Dr Ismail office in Kuala Lumpur. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in supporting our business with comprehensive bookkeeping and offers an opportunity to gain valuable experience in the accounting field.

What you'll be doing

1. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records
2. Performing accounts receivable tasks, including issuing invoices and allocating payments daily
3. Handling accounts payable tasks, such as processing purchase requisitions, purchase orders, vendor invoices, and payments in a timely manner
4. Assisting in verifying daily expenditures of staff on petty cash and corporate cards
5. Collaborating with stakeholders (customers, vendors, operational team) to address accounting and financing queries
6. Providing general administrative support to the accounting team

What we're looking for

1. Relevant qualifications in accounting, finance, or a related field; Degree required
2. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar bookkeeping or accounting role is an advantage
3. Proficiency in accounting software such as Odoo and MYOB Acumatica
4. Excellent command of English (spoken and written)
5. Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively
6. Strong attention to detail and accuracy
7. Ownership mindset and a 'Can-Do' attitude
