Job summary

Presto Universal Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking an Accounts Clerk to join our growing finance team. Fresh graduates with a positive attitude and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

You will update accounting records, enter data, manage daily transactions, assist with bank reconciliations and payments, and help maintain orderly filing. The role offers an opportunity to develop core accounting skills in a dynamic, project-focused company with a regional footprint.

Qualifications

• Diploma, LCCI or equivalent qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Willing to learn and able to follow instructions.
• Ability to accurately and efficiently enter data into accounting systems
• Good interpersonal & communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Able to work independently.
• Candidate who able to start work in short notice will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Updating accounting records and entering data/journal entries into the accounting system.
• Record and maintain daily accounting transactions.
• Manage petty cash transactions
• Maintain proper filing of accounting documents
• Assist with bank reconciliations and payment processing.
• Monitor outstanding payments and follow up with customers when required.
• Perform general administrative and office duties.
• Support the management and accounting team with other assigned tasks.
• Handling ad-hoc assignments and special projects as required.
