Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Perform all aspects of finance operations in Accounts Payable & Receivable.
  • Manage VAT reports and submissions, along with other tax-related reports.
  • Assist in annual audit exercises and perform ad hoc projects for reporting enhancements.

Job Description

We are seeking a Junior Accountant to join our team at Lesaffre. The successful candidate will support the Finance team with monthly reporting.

  1. Monthly reporting
    • Perform all aspects of finance operations in Accounts Payable & Receivable.
    • Handle treasury & banking functions.
    • Reconcile sales & purchase trade activities with inter-company affiliates.
    • Prepare monthly AP & AR reports.
    • Manage VAT reports and submissions, and other tax-related reports.
    • Review sales & purchase process flows to ensure proper execution of sales activities.
    • Support monthly operations reviews & other management reports.
    • Assist in annual audit exercises.
  2. Perform ad hoc projects for reporting enhancements and management requests.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Proficiency in Excel is essential.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Well-organized with a hands-on approach.
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Strong critical and analytical thinking skills.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
  • Positive attitude, good team player, high sense of ownership, and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with Oracle HFM, SAP SD/FI-CO, SAP S/4 HANA modules is a plus.
