Job summary

A manufacturing company located in Negeri Sembilan seeks a Finance Executive to manage full set accounts, daily bookkeeping, and compliance with tax regulations. Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in accounting or its equivalent, with strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Fresh graduates or those with 1-2 years of experience in an audit firm or commercial company are encouraged to apply. This role involves preparing business plans and budgets, and conducting statutory audits.

Qualifications

  • Fresh graduate or 1-2 years of working experience in an audit firm or commercial company.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare full set of accounts in a timely manner.
  • Perform daily bookkeeping functions including journal entries and bank reconciliation.
  • Handle day-to-day operations in the finance department.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulation and handle statutory audits.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Responsible to prepare full set of accounts in a timely basis.
  • Perform daily bookkeeping function at company level including preparing journal entries, invoices, Debit/Credit Notes, bank reconciliation.
  • Handle day to day operation in the finance department.
  • Responsible for the full spectrum of accounting including Account Payable, Account Receivable, General Ledger and Fixed Asset.
  • Handle tax compliance by preparing schedules/calculations for tax agent and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Preparation of company business plans and budgets
  • Handle statutory audit and prepare audit schedules/confirmations/calculations, ensure compliance and clearance.
  • Undertake any other projects and ad-hoc work assigned from time to time.
Qualifications
  • Must possess at least a bachelor’s degree in accounting/ ACCA/ CIMA/ CPA or equivalent.
  • Fresh graduate or 1-2 year(s) of working experience in an audit firm/commercial company.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work as team player and deliver under pressure, within tight deadline.
  • Must have good proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
