A leading company in Kuala Lumpur is looking for an Account Assistant to support daily accounting tasks. The role involves managing accounts payable and receivable, performing bank reconciliations, and preparing financial reports, requiring a diploma in Accounting and 1-2 years of experience in the field.
Assist with daily accounting tasks including data entry, invoice processing, and ledger maintenance.
Prepare and process accounts payable and receivable documents accurately and on time.
Perform bank reconciliations and help ensure all financial records are current and accurate.
Support the month-end and year-end closing process, including report preparation.
Manage and maintain proper filing of accounting documents such as invoices, receipts, and bank statements.
Handle petty cash transactions, staff expense claims, and preparation of payment vouchers.
Assist in preparing financial reports, audit schedules, and other ad hoc accounting tasks as required.
Liaise with suppliers and customers to follow up on payments and resolve any invoice discrepancies.
Requirements:
-Candidate must posses at least Diploma in Accounting or equivalent.
-Minimum of 1-2 years experiences in finance or accounting team.
-High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
-Strong team player with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
