Job summary

A leading company in the petroleum sector is seeking a Production Engineer based in Kuala Lumpur. The ideal candidate should have a degree in Petroleum Engineering and at least 5 years of relevant experience, with knowledge of key petroleum engineering software. This role involves both onshore and offshore activities as well as collaboration across teams to ensure operational excellence in production.

Qualifications

• Familiar with drilling, production, and offshore well issues.
• Willingness to travel onshore and offshore.

We’re sourcing forEngineer, Production.

Work Based: Kuala Lumpur.
Estimated Duration: 2 Years.
Malaysian candidates.

REQUIREMENTS:-

• Degree in Petroleum Engineering from recognized university.
• Preferably 5 years working experience in similar position.
• Technical awareness in reservoir, completion and well characterization.
• Prior experience with Petroleum Engineering software specifically in Nodal Analysis and Network Modelling i.e PETEX and decline curve analysis i.e OFM.
• Familiar with issues relating to drilling, production and work over of offshore dry-tree and Subsea wells.
• Willingness to travel to the field, both onshore and offshore.
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written, is essential.
