Job summary

A leading company in the underwater construction industry is seeking a CSR Diving & ROV Supervisor with extensive experience in diving operations, supervision, and regulatory compliance. The role involves liaising with multiple teams, conducting audits, and ensuring adherence to safety regulations in complex underwater projects. Qualifications

  • 15+ years as Air/Saturation Diver or ROV Pilot Technician.
  • Experience as Diving/ROV Supervisor/Superintendent.
  • Familiar with Malaysian marine regulations pertaining to diving.

Responsibilities

  • Liaising with marine, logistics, and subsea construction teams.
  • Conducting audits on diving and ROV operations.
  • Producing accurate budget estimates and reports.

February is coming…… and another opportunity has just landed for below position:-

1) CSR Diving & ROV operations:-

Requirements:-

– A holder of IMCA International Marine Contractors Association ) or AODC (Association of Offshore Diving Contractors) Diving Supervisor Certificate.
– Must have a minimum of 15 years working experience as Air or Saturation Diver and/or ROV Pilot Technician in underwater construction, inspection, maintenance and repair projects, Diving/ROV Supervisor/Superintendent in underwater construction and experience as CSR in a DSV/barge in various underwater construction, inspection, maintenance and repair projects.
– Must be conversant with and experienced in monitoring of underwater contractor performance, and in liaising with all involved parties i.e COMPANY’s marine, logistic, subsea construction and inspection groups, offshore production team, DSV Master and marine crews underwater IMR contractor, etc.
– Must be fully conversant with IMCA, lMO, relevant Malaysian marine and offshore legislation/guidance/regulations and requirements pertaining to underwater diving and ROV activities.
– Has attended an approved OGP/IMCA Client Site Representative training course and is certified as a qualified CSR.
– Has attended an approved OGP/IMCA basic Diving System Assurance (audit) awareness course and have conducted at least 3 audits and produced audits reports on Air and/or Saturation diving and ROV spreads.
– Must be fully familiar with and experienced in the supervision of all activities associated with underwater construction and inspection work, including NDT, maintenance and repair methodologies, techniques, procedures and equipment.
– Must be able to communicate fluently in English, both written and spoken.
– Must be capable of producing procedures, accurate budget estimates, reports, audit documents, charts, forms, spreadsheets, presentations, etc, using software (Word, Excel, Power Point).
