Job summary

Ericsson is seeking a talented Intern Software Developer in Subang Jaya, Malaysia, to contribute to Java-based solutions aligning with the SDLC. You will design and implement software components under Architects' guidance and support early testing stages to ensure component reliability.

The role emphasizes hands-on coding, architecture design, and collaboration with cross-functional teams within the DBS (OSS & BSS) domain.4-6 month internship with potential growth.

Qualifications

• College/University student with inclination in development (Java) and willingness to learn new languages like Python.
• Strong programming skills in Core JAVA / J2EE or other languages.
• Data structures, algorithms, problem solving and design patterns knowledge.
• SQL and NSQL databases knowledge.
• Spring framework including Spring Data JPA, Spring MVC, Spring Security familiarity.
• Build tools Gradle & Maven experience.
• Comfort working on Unix/Linux systems.
• Full-time internship from 4-6 months.

Responsibilities

• Translate storyboards and use cases into functional applications.
• Design, build, and maintain efficient Java code.
• Develop prototype plans for an enterprise system and integration with existing systems.
• Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs and devise solutions.
