Job summary

Technology Bucket is seeking a Java Programmer to contribute across the full SDLC, from requirements to maintenance, in a Malaysia-based office. The role requires hands-on Java 17 with React (Next.js), Spring Boot, and associated technologies, plus collaboration with business users and IT teams.

Strong documentation skills and a proactive approach to feature development and issue resolution are essential. Agile and DevOps familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.
• Hands-on experience with Java 17, React (Next.js), Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring JPA, JWT, OpenAPI, Redis, MariaDB, Docker and Linux.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Prior government project experience will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle, including requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to complete development or enhancement requests.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of technical documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
• Work closely with business users and IT technicians to identify and implement solutions to enhance project performance.
• Contribute to the identification and development of new features and functionalities to meet evolving business needs.
• Provide timely and effective technical support to internal and external stakeholders, resolving inquiries and troubleshooting issues.
