Job summary

A Hiring Company is seeking a Software Engineer in Kuala Lumpur with strong Java, Oracle PL/SQL, and RESTful API experience. You will design, develop, and support enterprise applications while contributing to microservices and CI/CD initiatives.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of Java development experience, proficiency with Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and Oracle PL/SQL, plus familiarity with cloud platforms and modern DevOps practices. This is an on-site role in Malaysia’s capital.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of Java application development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java 8/11/17, Spring Boot and Microservices.
• Expertise in Oracle PL/SQL development, including stored procedures and optimization.
• Experience in REST API development and system integration.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Docker, Kubernetes and cloud platforms.
• Solid knowledge of design patterns, secure coding, and performance optimization.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills; able to work independently in Agile teams.
