Job summary

• Strong Java backend development experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and enhance Java backend services that support web and mobile application experiences.
• Develop and maintain Spring Boot applications aligned to engineering standards.
• Deliver production-ready React and React Native features while maintaining a Java-first engineering focus.
• Support live applications including incident triage, fixes and continuous improvement.
• Work across multiple applications in a managed-services environment and switch context as priorities change.
• Collaborate with ANZ stakeholders to refine requirements and manage delivery priorities.
• Contribute to cloud and container-based delivery in Amazon Web Services environments.
• Use AI-assisted development tools to improve build quality and delivery speed.
• Participate in shift-based support coverage as needed to meet operational requirements.
