Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a Java Full Stack Developer (React Native) to build and support backend-driven applications for a global data and analytics leader across Australia and New Zealand. The role emphasizes Java-first development with Spring Boot, plus React and React Native for web and mobile interfaces.

You will work in managed-services environments, collaborate with ANZ stakeholders, and leverage AI-assisted tools to boost delivery pace. Occasional shift-based support may be required.

Qualifications

• Strong Java backend development experience as the primary skill.
• Spring Boot capability for building and maintaining production applications.
• Solid React experience and hands-on React Native experience.
• Ability to write, evaluate and troubleshoot code autonomously (not AI-generated).

Responsibilities

• Build and enhance Java backend services that support web and mobile applications.
• Develop and maintain Spring Boot applications following engineering standards.
• Deliver production-ready React and React Native features with a Java-first approach.
• Support live applications including incident triage and fixes.
• Collaborate with ANZ stakeholders to refine requirements and priorities.
• Contribute to cloud and container delivery in AWS environments.
• Use AI-assisted development tools to improve quality and speed.
• Provide shift-based support coverage as needed.
