Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a passionate Java Developer Intern to join our growing engineering team. This hands-on internship lets you work with experienced developers on real-world projects, not just fetching coffee.

Ideal candidates are final-year students or fresh graduates eager to start their tech careers in Southeast Asia. The role offers 4–8 months, start July 2026, and a full-time Mon–Fri schedule.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in CS/SE or related field.
• Solid foundational knowledge of Java.
• Familiarity with Spring Boot or willingness to learn quickly.
• Basic understanding of SQL/relational databases.
• Good problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn.
• Able to communicate in Chinese and English.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, developing, and testing Java-based backend services and APIs.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (PM, QA, DevOps) in an Agile environment.
• Debug and troubleshoot application issues.
• Learn and contribute to internal tooling and CI/CD pipelines.
