Job summary

Digital Business People in Kuala Lumpur seeks an experienced Java developer to drive API development, system integration, and scalable software solutions. You will collaborate with architects, engineers, BAs, and PMs to translate business requirements into robust technical designs.

Hands-on in complex applications, you will optimize performance, conduct code reviews, and ensure security and quality through CI/CD practices, AWS deployment, and container orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in Java development with expertise in API development and system integration.

Job Description Main Responsibilities and Deliverables:

• 5–8 years of experience in Java development, with proven expertise in custom API

  development and system integration.

• Proficient in writing SQL for integration queries, with familiarity in at least one of the

  following databases for query optimization and tuning: MSSQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL.

• Desirable to have knowledge of architectural patterns, but well-versed in best practices,

  and technical standards.

• Ensure adherence to coding standards.

• Perform or participate in code reviews and foster a culture of technical excellence.

• Hands-on experience in developing complex software applications and components,

• Experience working in Banking Industry, Actimize, AML, KYC and Fraud solutions are highly
