Overview

Job Description - IT Transformation Project Specialist. You will work with the GSC IT Transformation Leader and Eurofins IT Leadership on IT Transformation initiatives to improve operational efficiency, service quality and foster innovation. The role focuses on analysing, recommending, and supporting the implementation of transformation initiatives.

Current initiatives include opportunities in IT Procurement and Software Asset Management, ownership of a roadmap for an internal tool to improve visibility into employees’ activities and invoicing accuracy, IT Talent Management Strategy, Cloud cost transparency with FinOps, and additional IT cost optimisation initiatives.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will independently manage and deliver complex process transformation projects. You will be responsible for the following areas:

  • Strategic Process Transformation: Identify high-impact opportunities for process optimisation and digitalisation. Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines in collaboration with process owners and key business stakeholders.
  • End-to-End Process Improvement: Conduct in-depth analysis of existing processes to identify pain points and inefficiencies; design and document target processes aligned with business goals and best practices.
  • Digital Transformation: Collaborate with IT teams, business analysts, and developers to define system requirements and oversee the development of innovative digital solutions; ensure tools meet business needs through testing and validation.
  • Change Management and Implementation: Lead stakeholder alignment, communication plans, and training programs to ensure successful deployment; manage post-implementation reviews and drive continuous improvements.

Qualifications

  • Experience in change management and/or project management with 2–3 years at a top-tier consulting firm or 3–4 years in an IT consulting firm.
  • Education: University degree in Science, Engineering or Business.
  • Languages: English proficiency is essential; other languages are a plus.
  • Personal skills: Strong communication, presentation, organizational skills, and proactive, autonomous work style.
  • Technical knowledge: Proficiency with Microsoft Office, data analysis, data visualization, and reporting tools.
