Do you have a strong background and passion for IT Technician Specialist who is expected to deliver local IT support but also to support other APAC countries remotely? Then you might be the person we are looking for! Take on the role as IT Technician Specialist and become a key part of our team in SEA & Taiwan. This position will be based at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and is a part of Impossibly Fast team with members both at KL office in Malaysia and others across the SEA, with the ambition to support, challenge and develop each other on a daily basis. Role

The role is locally employed with locally dotted line report to General Manager SEA & Taiwan, and centrally direct report to IT Operation Manager. The role is an interface between local organization and global IT. Local support and administration tasks (including remote support for other APAC countries) are number one priority but if possible, the role will participate in other IT tasks. Participation in Global IT tasks is vital in order to have a good understanding of global systems. This role will be working with our new tenant 21Vianet; the administrator will need to know about (not an expert) managing user accounts, groups, Intune, Autopilot, Teams, SharePoint and other Microsoft technologies within the 21Vianet tenant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all IT infrastructure and devices and provide daily IT support
  • Implement global standards and projects locally on behalf of IT department
  • Capture local requirements/needs and communicate them to global IT for solutions
  • Provide expertise support for other APAC countries remotely
  • Other tasks assigned by Company
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, or related
  • A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in general IT architecture in well-established western MNCs
  • Excellent skills in managing Microsoft Windows clients and users
  • Microsoft 365 experience
  • Local network experience
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Fluent in both spoken and written English; communication in Mandarin (oral & written) would be a plus
