Job description

IT Technical Executive/ Assistant Manager

Familiar with Microsoft 365 administrative tasks and keep abreast with Microsoft latest technology, proposing benefits to management for long-term advantages.

Collaborate with IT Manager to ensure the effective functioning of the IT Technical department and assist in obtaining estimations for the IT budget during annual planning.

Experience with IT operations ticketing systems to work with internal IT teams and external vendors for technical problem resolution meeting expected SLAs.

Coordinate and manage IT technical projects, provide progress updates to managers, and initiate improvements using the latest technologies.

Work closely with other IT teams, such as applications and cybersecurity, to ensure infrastructure supports new technologies and business initiatives.

Manage, control, and monitor IT systems, infrastructure, and networks to ensure high uptime and operational continuity.

Support implementation and maintain clear documentation, architecture diagrams, and processes, incorporating best practices into hardware, software, and network integration.

Monitor infrastructure and system lifecycle, proposing replacements or upgrades before end-of-life/support.

Monitor security dashboards and notifications to address all alerts promptly.

Ensure IT disaster recovery strategies are in place and systems are ready for DR according to RTO and RPO.

Participate in annual audits and IT reviews to ensure adherence to SOPs and procedures.

Manage and maintain accurate IT inventories, including licenses, physical assets, vendor contracts, and user IDs.

Conduct periodic IT inspections to ensure systems operate smoothly and problem-free.

Requirements:

• Possess at least a Bachelor's or Professional Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
• Certification in Azure Fundamentals/Azure Administrator is an advantage.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in backend IT support.
• Strong analytical skills to review data, identify issues, and propose solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, capable of explaining technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and be a team player.
• Project management skills are an added advantage.
• Willingness to travel.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 admin, IAM, SharePoint, Exchange, Teams, Intune, Hybrid Active Directory, EntraID, GPO.
• Knowledge of cloud resource management on Azure portal, IAM, VM creation, VNET, backup, restore.
• Experience with IAM and PAM SecureKi, Sentinel is an advantage.
• Familiarity with network infrastructure such as firewalls, switches, APs, TCP/IP, VPN, VOIP.
• Experience with Windows and Linux servers/virtual machines, patch management.
• End Point Management including Security, Zero Trust, Intune, Microsoft Defender/TrendMicro, XDR/EDR.
• Inventory management of hardware and software.
